Our tour to Berlin with Thomas and Rostock travel was an outstanding success. Comfortable transport, and we were able to see much more of Berlin through our guide and our driver than would be possible on a ship's tour. I would unhesitatingly recommend Rostock Travel.
My wife, 9 year-old daughter and I were sailing on the Holland America Ryndam and wanted to see Berlin – but did not want to do so on a bus with 60 other people since we wanted more flexibility than an average bus tour can offer. I searched the internet and luckily found Rostock Travel. From my initial contact with Thomas Morgenstern it was evident that I was dealing with a true professional and a company that was exactly the right size to offer the personal service we were looking for.
The morning that we arrived in Warnemunde Thomas was there waiting when we walked off the ship at 7:30 AM. The 2 hour drive to Berlin flew by as we talked with Thomas about all manner of topics. In Berlin we saw everything that you could possibly see in a day and Thomas made it all so easy by knowing exactly where to go, being able to drop us off immediately in front of the sights, being knowledgeable about the city, and by being extremely flexible on the plans and the pace. We even stopped by a grocery store to buy some German chocolate before getting back to the ship at 9:00 PM – having seen far more than anyone else had.
All in all, the tour was perfect, making the arrangements was easy and I was very confident before we walked off the ship that Thomas would take care of everything. I would highly recommend Rostock Travel to anyone looking for that special private tour.

My family and I recently returned from a 12-day Northern Europe cruise. The ship docked at Warnemunde Germany and we thought $400 per person to go to Berlin and back was a bit steep (there were 5 of us), so before the cruise I looked online and found Rostock travel. I couldn't find any reviews about it (which is why I am writing one for them) but we booked with them anyway and we were extremely pleased with their excellent service. Anne drove us in a comfortable Mercedes van (her husband took another family in his Mercedes sedan that day) and played a high quality video of Berlin which gave us a lot of good info about the city. When it was time to go back to the ship, we had seen everything we wanted to see except Checkpoint Charlie and the last remaining section of the Berlin Wall, so she was kind enough to take us by them both for pictures on our way out of town. We paid about a third of what we would've had to pay if we'd booked through the cruise ship and there's no way their driver could've been better than Anne, so we were very happy that this worked out so well. I give an enthusiastic 2 thumbs up to Rostock Travel for getting us to Berlin quickly, comfortably, and for a really good price!
